Meet the Owner

Hello, my name is Gina... I am the lead esthetician and small business owner of Moonlight Esthie. I love connecting to clients, helping them understand their skin conditions, educating them on products and helping them with their at-home skincare regimen. I develop relationships with my clientele that create community and also offer an escape from their day-to-day roles.

Mission Statement

I think one of the biggest psychological problems today is low self-worth. We put ourselves last, especially women and even more so mothers. We feel guilty for spending money on ourselves, viewed as frivolous purchases, and rationalize sacrificing ourselves to meet the needs of others.

Everyone is constantly bombarded with stress and worry, overwhelmed by responsibilities that can internalize negativity. We are the harshest critics to ourselves, and usually the most critical about our appearance.

You are uniquely awesome and my mission is to remind you that you are worthy of love and deserve to feel beautiful. It’s important to take two hours, once a month, to set aside just for you. For a chance to relax and destress, to reconnect to yourself, and remember that you are worthy of care.

My focus is to regularly connect to my clients, customize their treatments, help them take care of themselves at home, and encourage them to regularly schedule their next self-care time because they are important. It is the personalized attention that separates Moonlight Esthie from a regular day spa experience.

The Story Behind Moonlight Esthie

Since I was a little kid, this moon-shaped wall lamp in my grandpa's house held a mesmerizing attraction to me... Whenever I’d visit, I'd rush to sit in front of it, waiting for him to turn it on for me... It just made me feel cozy, like a fireplace does—warm, calm and at home.

As the years passed, I got the moon lamp when my grandpa passed away. A simple flick of the switch always brings back memories of him and my childhood, putting a big smile on my face.

Exposure to moonlight can lead to feelings of awe and peace, along with a greater sense of connection to the universe

When I looked up what moonlight means, it made sense to name my business "Moonlight." It's not just about my grandpa; it's about connecting with hidden parts of myself. The soft glow of the lamp isn't just light; it's a link to where I come from and the things I'm still discovering about myself.
